Geothermal
Pagosa Baking Company is on the Town of Pagosa Springs District Heating System. We use the geothermally heated water for building heat, and to melt snow on the eastern side of the building. Check out this link to learn more about the geothermal heating system in Pagosa Springs.
Recycling
PBC recycles plastic, paper, glass, aluminum with local business, Elite Recycling
Composting
PBC composts our kitchen waste, like apple, carrot & onion peels, egg shells, coffee grounds etc. Some of our compostable waste is picked up by locals for chicken feed. And Pagosa Compost is a volunteer driven project working with the Archuleta County Extension, that collects compostable materials from several local restaurants.
